Inspirations

Inspiration comes in many styles, shapes, forms and fashions. For me, it may be a beautiful sunset in my rear-view, my dog wanting to cuddle, or my nieces and nephews calling my name. I can honestly say that not a day goes by that i do not have the urge to write something somewhere, anywhere, on anything. Or take a picture and capture a moment God has created that sadly a camera will forever fail to capture as wonderful as the human eye. This particular sunset photo was taken while i drove to church Wednesday evening.
Not too long ago i was sitting in class and on 8 sheets of paper, front and back, i created chapters 3 and 4 of my second book. i was sitting there and all of a sudden it all poured out onto the page and i had no idea what was going on in the classroom around me. I wrote of a lovely couple, life filled with love, laughter and their beautiful children. However, life is not that perfect so of course i had to add some cancer to make things more realistic. I love how Jane Austen gave her characters exactly what they wanted, but i have trouble writing fairytale endings when i know it never ends that way. Miss Austen did not get her ideal fairytale ending, but i do believe she died with a peace of mind knowing she made a great living by her pen. If i so happen to be an aspiring authoress with a house full of dogs, so be it. I love writing and the dogs would keep me from being lonely.
My life, like others i am sure, is very far from a fairytale and i have too many bad memories to inspire me to write more realistic endings for my own characters lives. Claire is in love and she has a wonderful husband, but God has another plan for her life and she will learn to make the best of what she has been given. As will i. Life is the time you get to spend between the day you are born and the day you die, make the most of it, before it ends.
Thanks for reading, (although i doubt anyone is). But i have to go to sleep now. Best wishes and wonderful days! Goodnight world.
